Client Situation - Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFL) was a commonplace lighting technique at work places until a few years ago. For instance, CSS Corp’s older offices had this lighting system. CFL emits 30 BTU/hour and the life span for the CFL bulbs is only 8000 hours. This results in high generation of heat (necessitating continued air-conditioner use to offset the heat) as well as frequent replacement of the lights. This indeed was an expensive medium. The possibility of adopting high-end technology in the lighting system has been an exciting leap for most of the corporates. CSS Corp was also one of the corporates who reveled in this new technology when we shifted our corporate office to a newer location.
